when I walked in the room and saw him for the first time my eyes filled with tears. he is perfect. absolutely perfect.  and HE'S HERE!

it will be so much fun to watch him grow and be able to be a part of his life.  Love you so much!

We had a great time at her 1 year shoot!

I got to follow her as she RAN around the house.

Her mama made her the sweetest little tutu, 1 onsie

and HUGE cupcake.

YES... that is frosting on her foot.  That's the best way to eat a HUGE cupcake right?

It is an amazing time with a future Bride and Groom.

They looked like they knew what the other one was thinking with out saying a word.  

We had a great time getting to know them and can't wait for their BIG DAY!!

{Marley "baby girl"}

is growing up!  

She knows how to use my phone better than I do at times!

I moved back "home" on February 1st and I have to say one of the best things about being here is watching Marley grow and being a part of her life and development!

When she gets home from school EVERY DAY that she sees  my car in the driveway ... 

It is so sweet to hear her say, "SUZ... I'M HOME... can I come and see you?" 

She stands at the top of the stairs and waits for me to come and greet her.

There is nothing better than a hug from someone truly excited to see you!

How do you describe the feeling of holding a baby for the first time.  

A baby that you've loved since you heard of their conception.

I have been excited to meet this little man for 9 months.

He stole my heart from the second I got to hold him and capture these moments. 

He is one of the most precious little guys. So peaceful. So loving.  

He slept through the whole shoot!

I love you so much baby BMJ!  I can't wait to watch you grow!

This is a lot harder than I thought it would be - but it just makes me excited for when I get to post these shoots.  {I'm still catching up on Posts from when I was sick... it's been 4 months} but I want to give you a taste of what I've been up to recently.

I love these kids!  I'll give a little bit of the story - so you can anticipate the full blog.  I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

{baby Tessa 3 months old}

Tessa lives in GA.. and this is the first time that I got to meet her.  Her mommy is one of my best friends and has been since we were born. It was amazing to see what a great mom she is - and to see her mom as a Grandma!  I wish we had more time together - but I will take what I can get!!  I love them so much and can't wait to show you the rest of our shoot!

{baby Avery 11 months old}

I LOVE the look on his face!  Complete exhilaration!!  We had just come in from outside where he wore his snow boots for the first time.  It was one of the most adorable things I've seen and taken images of!  How he lifted up his legs so high to walk, he would fall down and pick himself up again ... he also learned to walk sideways through the car tracks down the driveway.  SO CUTE!  I'm shooting his 1st birthday party tomorrow - and can't wait to see them again!

{Dallas - Toddler 18 months}

We went to shoot at the Mall of America.  It was so much fun!  Dallas is such a sweetheart - it's been amazing to watch him grow and be a part of capturing it!  The MoA has got A LOT of great backdrops for indoor shots - that can look like studio backdrops.  I love his little profile and that he was crawling all over the place!  When he started to walk he kind of skipped past it and went to the running stage! He's totally got my heart!

{Miss Tate 11 months}

seriously.  can this girl or family be cuter.

She is walking all over the place and loving it!  You would think that she'd try to keep up with her brothers - but it's them trying to keep up with her!  They all have such beautiful eyes and smiles - but also they are just so kind and sweet to each other! {of course no one is perfect - but it is fun to brag on here about them a little bit!} This shoot was "Breakfast with the Addlers" it was a blast - Tate started to become uninterested in the shoot ... but then we just put a set of pearls on her and she came alive!

{Samantha 6 months}

Speaking of pearls - look at how adorable she is with them!!  And those beautiful big brown eyes! She has got one of the cutest smiles and laughs.  In some of the pictures I wonder if she's going to be a ballerina or a Harley girl - she's got the poses for both!  It was great to see Sam and her family... their dog Chip {the VERY protective one} likes me now... I love being able to bond with the whole family.  I can't wait until her 9 month shoot!  She started rolling over on this shoot so I'm sure she'll be trying to walk... if not run by then!
